These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SkyVex Weather app and related services ("SkyVex", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
SkyVex provides weather forecasts, minute-by-minute precipitation nowcasting, severe-weather alerts, air quality and pollen information, forecast-model comparison, and related tools. Every feature is free. There is no subscription, no trial, and no in-app purchase.
Weather information — no guarantee
Important: Weather data is inherently uncertain. Forecasts, nowcasts, and alerts are provided for general informational purposes only and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Do not rely on SkyVex as your sole source of information for decisions affecting safety, life, or property. In severe or life-threatening conditions, always follow official government warnings and the guidance of local emergency authorities.
Price
SkyVex is free to download and free to use. We do not charge for any feature, we do not run subscriptions or in-app purchases, and we do not ask for payment details. If that ever changes, it will be announced in the app before it takes effect.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: attempting to access it by any means other than the app; scraping, overloading, or abusing our servers or the data providers behind them; reverse-engineering or interfering with the app; or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its content are owned by SkyVex or its licensors and are protected by law. Weather data is provided by third-party sources including Open-Meteo, Rainbow.ai, MeteoAlarm, and Apple Weather, and remains the property of those providers. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial use.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkyVex and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on weather information or from any interruption of the service.
Changes to the service or these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
